This policy explains how Smart Way Logistics LLC handles information submitted through this website and our business text messages.
Information we collect
Freight requests may include your name, company, email, phone, route, dates, cargo description, weight and equipment requirements. For text conversations, we also process message content, delivery status, timestamps and your consent or opt-out preferences. We collect this information from your submitted forms and communications with our team.
How we use your information
We use your information to answer inquiries, prepare freight quotes, coordinate transportation and provide customer support. A quote request is not a confirmed booking. Submitting the form does not add you to a marketing list.
SMS/MMS privacy and consent
Website SMS enrollment requires you to select the separate, optional checkbox. A supplied phone number alone is not permission to text. Choosing not to receive texts does not affect your ability to request or purchase transportation.
With your permission, Smart Way Logistics LLC may text you about freight inquiries, quotes, shipment coordination, pickup or delivery updates, and customer support. This opt-in covers service conversations only.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers and wireless carriers may process necessary information to deliver texts for us; your consent does not authorize marketing by them.
Our website records your selection and, when you opt in, the submission time, phone number, consent wording, version and form URL. Texting is provided through Quo and its messaging providers.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, or HELP for assistance. We honor opt-out requests; a confirmation may follow. Further messages require renewed permission. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.
Storage, providers and protection
We limit access to information needed to operate our services. Cloudflare hosts the website and quote database. Resend processes quote emails if email notifications are enabled. Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces. Service providers receive information needed for their work, not permission to use SMS data for their own marketing. We use reasonable access controls and secure web connections.
Technical information
The site does not use advertising trackers. Hosting services may use essential cookies and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. A daily one-way hash of a request’s network address may be stored to limit repeated submissions; the raw address is not stored in the quote record.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, transportation records and applicable obligations. Consent and opt-out records may be retained to document messaging preferences. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to required record retention.
